RICHMOND Development

This under construction project is located on Bathurst Street in the town of Richmond Hill, providing 15 freehold townhomes with condominium elements. In collaboration with its developer, Rivermill Homes, we aimed to design intelligently-configured spaces with needs of future-families in-mind. Progressive in every aspect, each townhouse is owned individually with two parking spaces—one indoor and one on the driveway. The configuration presents different elevations at the front and back of the units to achieve the 3-storey look on both sides. Propelling the movement of contemporary development forward, in the suburban setting, the design of the project distinguishes RICHMOND from its traditional surrounding, bringing a more urban lifestyle and streetscape to the neighbourhood. Inside, an open-concept design offers the residents convenience and visually-striking spaces from the 14’ high ceiling to the custom-made kitchen. Moreover, Rich, natural materials predominate. A sculptural stair is crafted from glass panels—matched by similarly stained oak floors and handrails. Custom italian kitchen and bathroom cabinets also feature an oak finish and are complemented by porcelain floor tiles and quartz countertops. This project is designed under EnerGuide 83 energy efficiency guidelines. Using high-velocity mechanical system, triple-glazed fibreglass windows and double-rated insulation—in both the roof and exterior walls—make this project one and only energy star complex in this part of the city.
